3D Animator
CARSON HORNER
This animation is one of the final ones I did in school and was a super fun study of body mechanics and weight. I really enjoyed working with this rig and the project honed my understanding of constraints.
This one was challenging because I hadn't worked on any animal lip sync until this project but for my first attempt I am quite proud! It was fun to figure out the mouth shapes necessary to make the words read well.
Working on this shoot and reload animation was such a nice switch in pace from the others. I love all the work I do, but this one has a special place in my heart because it was the first animation in school where I was able to choose the subject.
This animation was a nice exercise in team oriented work. Our class acted as animators in a studio and had to connect our shots together to make a cohesive scene. I found it easier than I thought it would be to communicate with my peers and hook up shots, and it gave me a chance to make some friends too!
I completed this animation in 3 hours because it was a in class drill. Creating the smear of the cylinder going into the characters hand was fun and I really enjoyed seeing my classmates drills and how they thought to work with the prompt.
